To choose your battcar system, follow the steps below. |
1. Determine System Size |
The four sizes, Systems AA, A, B, and C, are based on sail area. See the chart at right to select the correct system for your boat |

2. Determine Track Quantity and Type |
Use the mainsail Luff Length chart on each system page to determine the number of track sections required |

Slug-Mount: Most Common. Requires one slug-mount kit per track section.Select slug that matches the mast's bolt rope groove shape. |
Drill-Tap: For masts without a bolt rope groove. Requires one splice link at each track joint |

|
Quick-release: Includes screwpin or pinstop endstop for bottom of mast and fixed endstop for the top. |
Fixed: Includes two fixed endstops. |

4. Choose Cars |
Order one Headboard, one Battcar for every full batten, and use the Intermediate Car Chart at right to determine the number of intermediate cars. |
